Legendary golf course architect Pete Dye recently led a multi-million dollar redesign project to create The Sea Pines Resort's newest golf course, Heron Point. Heron Point was ranked the #15 course in South Carolina on the list of "Best Courses Near You" by GOLF Magazine. With Dye's usual mastery, fairways have been re-crafted into dramatic angles and shifting elevations, while surfaces are an interesting mixture of sand, mulch, limestone, and different grasses offering a kaleidoscope of appealing color changes. It has been touted as "nothing short of a masterpiece."
