Named #1 Course in South Carolina
Harbour Town Golf Links was selected the top golf course in the state by the South Carolina Golf Course Ratings Panel, announced this spring. In fact, Harbour Town has been awarded this honor every year since the panel began its rankings in 2005.
"I could play Harbour Town every day and never get bored," said current Verizon Heritage champion Jim Furyk.
The 125-member panel is composed of golf enthusiasts representing a diverse range of occupations, handicaps and backgrounds, with the objective of promoting excellence in the state's golf course design and operations through competitive rankings, education and public advocacy.
Criteria used in the judging include routing, variety, strategy, equity, memorability, aesthetics and experience.
