For over forty years the red and white striped Harbour Town Lighthouse has signaled what a truly unique and special place The Sea Pine Resort is to all who visit or call Hilton Head Island home. Located in the heart of The Sea Pines Resort Harbour Town is Hilton Head Island’s most famous marina stop and provides the perfect backdrop for our Spring activities.
Encircling Harbour Town’s Yacht Basin are some of the island’s most delightful boutiques, shops and restaurants. Throughout the entire year, special events are held in and around the harbour, making it the place to be, no matter the month….no matter the season!
Here are a few springtime events on the horizon in Harbour Town:
- The Quarterdeck has begun nightly entertainment!! Music, fun and dancing under the stars (and inside) at the legendary Quarterdeck, the hottest night spot on the island!
- March 27, 12 - 6pm - Rock the Boat - "Battle of the Bands in Harbour Town" On the Liberty Oak Stage, local bands will compete to win three gigs in Harbour Town during the summer, as well as title of Rock the Boat Champion!
- April 12-18, late night live entertainment at The Quarterdeck in Harbour Town. The perfect "last stop" after a day at the Verizon Heritage Golf Tournament.
- April 13-18, 4-10pm - Verizon Heritage Week "Plaid Pavilions" near the Liberty Oak at Harbour Town. After a day of enjoying championship golf, this is where everyone will gather for fun under the stars in Harbour Town! Featuring dance bands, cocktails & outdoor grilling….a perfect way to end an exciting day of "spectating!"
- April 15-18, 5pm -10pm Party on the Pier - Come out and enjoy live entertainment and a full bar on the Lighthouse Pier in Harbour Town. Adjacent to the Pier is Sunset Beach where nightly "Get Your Plaid On" Beachwear contests will be held as well as a $1000 Hole in One Competition, Fighting Chair Challenge, Strongest Foursome Tug of War, Pabbleboard Races and more.
- May 2, 5:30 - 9pm - 6th Annual Yacht Hop - One of the top events of the spring, the 6th Annual Yacht Hop features delicious fare and wine from the area’s most notable restaurants served aboard the yachts in Harbour Town. The evening also includes dancing and music by the Headliners, dessert and champagne, plus live and silent auctions. The event benefits Hospice Care of the Lowcountry. - May 8, time, TBA - Mothers Day--Flowers & Fashions on the Harbour Town Pier. This event is both a fashion and garden show at the Pier.
- May 28-30, Memorial Weekend Festivities - This is the official kick-off of summer with family fun galore around the Harbour! Specific event times TBA.
