On March 29, Lawton Stables officially opened its newly constructed, state-of-the-art 19-stall boarding barn. This will be an exciting addition to the already-wonderful facilities at Lawton Stables.
In addition to the new barn, Lawton Stables has a distinctive new look from every angle. Even the entry has changed, with a newly completed welcome center, which includes a porch area to teach horsemanship skills classes, as well as a charming general store.
Children will love visiting the small animal farm, free of charge.
Of course, Lawton Stables still offers the hugely popular hour-long, escorted Western-style trail rides through the scenic Forest Preserve. For the younger visitors, Lawton Stables also offers pony rides.
