Activities For All Ages At Our Hilton Head Family Resort

• Gregg Russell Concerts. (Sundays through Fridays, 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.) Enjoy a musical night in the heart of Harbour Town. Sit under the grand branches of the Liberty Oak Tree, and listen as Gregg Russell plays his guitar and sings. Gregg has entertained children and adults alike for more than 25 years -- providing a wonderful event for the entire family, complimentary to all guests.
• Freshwater Fishing. (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.) Enjoy a relaxing morning by the beautiful lakes of The Sea Pines Resort Forest Preserve. Watch for turtles, alligators and birds as we fish for largemouth bass, crappie, bream and catfish. Fishing tackle provided by Shakespeare; catch and release.
• Let’s Go Crabbing (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.) Spend your morning on the sandy shore of South Beach in search of Hilton Head Island’s largest and tastiest crab. The blue crabs, hermit crabs, seagulls and the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin also often make appearances to bring life to the beach. Supplies provided; catch and release.
• Gullah Campfire Storytelling (Thursdays 8 p.m. – 9 p.m.) Travel to a different time and culture without ever leaving The Sea Pines Resort. Join us around the campfire around The Sea Pines Resort Forest Preserve for a night of Gullah stories, language, lifestyle and songs. Enjoy roasted marshmallows and lemonade while Louise Cohen, native Hilton Head Islander, captivates audiences with her myths and talks about the Gullah lifestyle.
• Family Hayrides (Sundays 4 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.) Come explore some of the sights and sounds of the beautiful Forest Preserve aboard our old fashioned hay wagon. We will search for alligators, turtles and birds. This will also be a great time to learn about the numerous other nature and family activities taking place this week.
• Evening Hayrides (Wednesdays 8:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.) Find out what goes bump in the night by experiencing The Sea Pines Resort Forest Preserve after dark. The only way into the Preserve after hours, this tour will let you enjoy the personality of the Preserve under the stars as we search out the American alligator in its nighttime environment.
• Family Pool Night - Pizza and a Movie. (Wednesdays, 8 p.m. - 10 p.m.) Summer nights for the family are never boring floating on a tube at the Plantation Club pool while watching a flick and eating pizza with the family. Reservations required. $10 per adult and $8 per child 12 and under, for guests of The Sea Pines Resort and Sea Pines Property Owners. Otherwise $11 per adult and $9 per child 12 and under.
• Photo Scavenger Hunt. (Monday through Thursday, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.) Explore The Sea Pines Resort by trolley, bike, or car, and follow our clues to photograph your team at our more popular sights. Cameras are supplied, and you keep the pictures! Price: $20 per team. This activity begins at The Sea Pines Resort Fitness Center. The photo scavenger hunt is not a supervised activity.
  
  
• Craft Crove Activities
  • Tie-Dye. (Mondays and Fridays, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.) Tie-dye a tee-shirt with your choice of colors and style. Meet at the Craft Cove at The Sea Pines Beach Club. Price for guests of The Sea Pines Resort and Sea Pines Property Owners: $13 per logo tee-shirt. Price for all other guests: $15 per logo tee-shirt.
  • Shark Tooth Necklace Making. (Mondays and Fridays, 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) Create a one-of-a-kind necklace, using shark teeth and other materials for a highly unique look. Appropriate for children under 10 years of age. Price for guests of The Sea Pines Resort and Sea Pines Property Owners: $7 per activity. Price for all other guests: $9 per activity.
  • Sand Art. (Wednesdays, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.) Get in touch with the ocean, by creating a candle or decorative bottle with sand and shells. Meet at the Craft Cove at The Sea Pines Beach Club. Price for guests of The Sea Pines Resort and Sea Pines Property Owners: $8 per item. Price for all other guests: $10 per item.
  • Create A Shirt. (Wednesdays, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.) Be creative and decorate the unique symbols of The Sea Pines Resort on a tee-shirt with paint markers. Price for guests of The Sea Pines Resort and Sea Pines Property Owners: $13 per logo tee-shirt. Price for all other guests: $15 per logo tee-shirt.
  • Be A Little Crafty. (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.) Choose from one of several crafts to find the one that suits you most. Tuesdays feature wood lighthouses, wood boats, and flowerpots; Thursdays offer keepsake boxes, treasure chests, and tote bags. Meet at the Craft Cove at The Sea Pines Resort Beach Club. Price for guests of The Sea Pines Resort and Sea Pines Property Owners: $10 per item. Price for all other guests: $12 per item.
  • Hemp / Jewelry Making. (Tuesdays, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.) Be creative and weave a necklace, bracelet, anklet, or keychain with hemp string and beads of your choice. Appropriate for children 10 and under and adults. Meet at the Craft Cove at The Sea Pines Resort Beach Club. Price for guests of The Sea Pines Resort and Sea Pines Property Owners: $10 per item. Price for all other guests: $12 per item.
  • Sand Dollar Painting. (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) Bring a piece of the beach home, by decorating a genuine preserved sand dollar. Meet at the Craft Cove at The Sea Pines Resort Beach Club. Price for guests of The Sea Pines Resort and Sea Pines Property Owners: $7 per item. Price for all other guests: $9 per item.
  • Spin Art. (Thursdays, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.) Use paint markers and your imagination to create a colorful frisbee! Price for guests of The Sea Pines Resort and Sea Pines Property Owners: $8 per item. Price for all other guests: $10 per item.
  • Beach Frames. (Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) Show off your vacation memories, by creating a picture frame with paint and shells. Meet at the Craft Cove at The Sea Pines Resort Beach Club. Price for guests of The Sea Pines Resort and Sea Pines Property Owners: $7 per item. Price for all other guests: $9 per item.
  • Stepping Stones. (Fridays, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.) Bring a piece of Sea Pines home to your garden, by creating a family stepping stone with plaster and shells. Meet at the Craft Cove at The Sea Pines Resort Beach Club. Price for guests of The Sea Pines Resort and Sea Pines Property Owners: $12 per item. Price for all other guests: $14 per item.
  • Sea Pines Ceramics. (Mondays, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.) All of your favorite icons of The Sea Pines Resort are waiting to be painted - including alligators, turtles, dolphins, and even the Harbour Town lighthouse. Price varies with the item selected, ranging from $8 to $18.
