Great for poolside socializing, the living room’s convenient wetbar, icemaker and mini fridge are just inside the sliding glass doors.

In serene blue and white, one of the downstairs bedrooms, with king-sized bed, accesses the pool and deck, and has a TV plus private bath with tile floor. Another downstairs bedroom in pale tones features twin beds, with TV, hardwood floors, and a bath with double vanity, tub and shower.

The second floor houses the primary living space for this beachside retreat, opening into a living space with palmetto greens and sunny yellows, a vaulted ceiling and hardwood floors. This living area is adjacent to a lovely Carolina room with wicker furnishings, leading further to a second-floor screened porch. A dining room on this level seats eight at its glass table. The neighboring kitchen, in green and white, features hardwood floors and granite countertops.

The tree-surrounded screened porch can also be accessed through the restful master bedroom -- which has a king-sized bed, TV, walk-in closet -- and is decorated in colors of sky and sand. The private bathroom includes a spacious double vanity, glass enclosed shower and separate tub with whirlpool spa. In hushed pinks and creams is the second upstairs bedroom with twin beds, a TV and a walk-in closet. For those desiring to be near the sights and sounds of the surf, this home is an ideal vacation option.
