At the southernmost tip of Hilton Head Island is the curve of New England-style duplex homes called Lands End, edging the island’s most pristine sweep of shoreline, South Beach. This lovely Lands End residence welcomes its guests warmly with a covered front porch and wicker chairs. Through its front door, you will instantly be both charmed and enchanted by the sparkling waters of Calibogue Sound, seen straight ahead, with Daufuskie Island in the background.

This home is perched slightly higher than many others, above the dunes, allowing for a breathtaking beach view. Its boardwalk leads directly to the sands from the back door of its screened porch with wicker furnishings, and back deck with grill and lounge chairs.

In pale sand-toned hues, the living room, with TV, VCR and DVD, features a black slate fireplace, plantation shutters, internet access and comfortable seating. The living room flows into the dining room which seats eight and has a nearby wetbar. The light-filled, fully appointed kitchen has a convenient pass-through window to the dining room.

Oceanfront is the master bedroom, reveling in an incredible view, allowing glimpses of dolphin fins, arcing into the water’s surface. Offering porch access, the master bedroom houses a king-sized bed, TV and private bath with marble double vanity and combination tub/shower.

Also downstairs is another bedroom with restful décor, a queen-sized bed and ceiling fan. This room also has its own bathroom with combination tub/shower.

Upstairs are two more bedrooms. Decorated with cheerful blue and tan bedding on the twin beds, this next bedroom enjoys a sweeping water view. The room also has a TV and private bath with tub/shower combo. The fourth bedroom features twin beds, white wicker bedding and ceiling fan, all adorned in pale, relaxing tones. Its private bath has a combination tub and shower as well.

Lands End has a convenient on-site swimming pool, and is within easy walking distance to the shopping, dining and water sports of the quaint South Beach Marina Village.
