Situated oceanfront on South Beach, this Grey Widgeon residence is stunning, but casual enough for true vacation pleasure. Through its double doors, the entry opens to stone flooring, white cottage walls, and an open staircase to the second floor.

With breathtaking views of the just-outside-the-backdoor surf and sand, the first floor houses a living room with 56” flat screen TV, DVR, an L-shaped sofa, opening to the wraparound back deck that is resort-like in its scope. Featuring a shimmering pool, whirlpool spa, eight chaise lounges and plenty of seating. The grassy back lawn has stone pavers to the home’s private stairs that lead over the dunes to the shore. There is also an outdoor bathroom with convenient stone shower.

Recently remodeled, the first level has three bedrooms, all lavishly appointed and all with magnificent ocean views. In pale green, tan and brown, the first bedroom features king-sized bed, flat screen TV with private spa-like bathroom, housing a stone tile shower and granite countertops. Another spacious bedroom, in nautical blues and whites, has twin beds with TV and VCR/DVD. This bedroom’s adjacent bathroom has a blue-grey slate floor, gray and pearl-flecked granite vanity and combination tub and shower.

Also with an oceanview, the third downstairs bedroom in blue, tan and brown has two doubles, plus TV, DVD/VCR and a lovely private bath with granite and stone appointments.

Upon ascending the open wooden staircase, you’ll find the main living area, featuring a second living room with large flat screen TV, DVD/VCR, tropical-blade ceiling fan, vaulted ceiling and sliding glass doors that reveal an expansive upper level deck and outdoor seating. The pool below is accessible from this upper deck via staircase.

Also upstairs is the spacious, remodeled kitchen with stainless steel appliances and countertop seating for four at the bar, and another four at the island. In addition, there’s a breakfast nook with seating for six. Adjacent to the kitchen is an upper level screened porch for capturing the heavenly seabreezes.

Seating eight, a dining room with heart of pine flooring and contrasting furnishings of light and dark, also captures ocean vistas from its windows.
