Sequestered in a quiet Sea Pines neighborhood, this Heritage Court address welcomes guests in a genteel manner. Its front porch with rocking chairs invites relaxation, hinting at the vacation mode you’ll be in while staying in this charming residence.

There is such a feeling of room and space here, entering through double glass doors into a wide area which encompasses the foyer, living room with marble fireplace and sophisticated dining room seating eight. With dark wood flooring, there is a relaxed elegance about this home, featuring French doors, which reveal the back deck, with pool and whirlpool spa below.

Most impressive is this home’s great room -- a massive living space with 42” flat screen TV/DVD and internet access – which encompasses a beautifully appointed kitchen with a hammered-copper table seating six, and additional seating for two at the black-granite topped bar. Gourmet-tier appliances are housed alongside crisp, white cabinetry with black iron handles, with additional amenities such as a built-in wine refrigerator and stately marble fireplace.

Also on the first floor -- off of the kitchen -- is an inviting screened porch that overlooks the pool, and seems integrated with the surrounding pines and palmettos. In addition, this main level is home to the luxurious master bedroom with a king-sized sleigh bed, flat screen TV, tray ceilings, and a private bath retreat with tiled floor, double vanity, whirlpool tub and oversized, glass-enclosed shower. The other first floor bedroom, in sage and cream, has a king-sized bed, flat screen TV, high ceilings and private tiled bath with tub and shower.

Above the three-car garage are the additional bedrooms. In hushed yellows and blues, one of the rooms has twin beds, with a private bath featuring a shower/tub. An adjacent bedroom houses a queen-sized bed, TV and private bath, and is furnished in maritime-inspired navy and white.

In an open den outside the two bedrooms, there is a day bed for additional sleeping, next to a half bath, plus a large TV/DVD and views to the pool below. This Lowcountry home’s other appointments include a washer and dryer, an al fresco dining table, with seating for six and a large grill on the wraparound deck. This home is only a quick bike ride to either the beach or Harbour Town.
