You’ll arrive at 20 Oyster Catcher and never want to leave. From the moment you open the front door, you are welcomed in hushed tones of beige, cream and warm tans, with island accents. Travertine flooring leads into the family room with fireplace, flat TV, DVD, wetbar with mini-fridge and icemaker. The family room, which has an office nook with internet access, is level with the pristine pool and deck, and has covered seating for shaded outdoor dining.

There are two bedrooms downstairs, one room, which is decorated in palm-colored greens and browns, has a king-sized bed, TV and DVD. There is a private bath adjacent to this bedroom, as is access to the back deck and pool. The other downstairs bedroom is architecturally dramatic with a curved wall of windows covered in plantation shutters, as the room’s entry. Also with a king-sized bed, a TV/VCR/DVD combo, generous walk in closet, and batik-inspired bedding, this bedroom could be considered a downstairs master.

Up the grand wrought iron and wood staircase is the heart of the home, an expansive space that combines a kitchen, living room and dining room. Each room would be magnificent on its own, but in one huge flowing space, it is magic. A wraparound deck with two grills, and two tables and seating for ten, has vistas of the Atlantic beyond…not to mention the sounds of the surf.

The gourmet-quality kitchen features a granite countertop, dark brown bead-board cabinetry and state-of-the-art, stainless steel appliances including a Viking gas stove, a Décor oven, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and every convenience. The dining room seats eight, then two additional bars/countertops seat a total of five more, and breakfast table which seats six. The living room portion of this great room has comfortable seating, a TV, DVD and black granite fireplace, with sliding glass doors accessing the oceanview deck.

The master bedroom, also upstairs, has a king-sized bed, a TV, DVD, plantation shutters, a ceiling fan, a private oceanside balcony, a generous walk-in closet and an impressive master bath in both size and scope, showcasing massive glass block shower, a separate tub, saturnia flooring and granite double vanity.

Two more bedrooms are on the second floor, one with a subtle jungle motif in pale blues featuring twin beds, a TV/DVD combo and private bath and balcony. Another bedroom upstairs has India-inspired bedding, with two double beds, a TV and DVD plus private bath.
