This extraordinarily special home begins with a wonderful ocean-oriented location, and continues with a charming cedar shake, Lowcountry exterior….and, through the wrought iron gate and sandblasted-bricked pathway to its massive double doors, an interior is revealed that shows attention to every single detail.

In the luxuriously furnished living room is a pleasingly soft palate of tans and beiges, with hardwood floors found throughout the first floor. A vaulted ceiling, skylight and a black granite gas fireplace add drama to the room, as does the wall of windows which overlooks the brick paver- surrounded pool, spacious sundeck with six chaises, and picturesque lagoon beyond. There’s even a glimpse of the ocean from this vantage point.

From there, is the fabulously appointed kitchen and great room. The kitchen itself has stainless steel appliances and a white marble prep sink island with wine refrigerator, which contrasts beautifully with the black granite counters and white cabinetry with brushed nickel pulls. A granite countertop/bar seats three, and a separate breakfast table in the bay window seats four.

Flowing from the kitchen into the great room is plush seating and a black granite gas fireplace, above which is a wall-mounted flat screen TV with surround sound. Inviting nature inside is a wall of windows which reveals ancient oaks, magnolias and giant palm fronds. Even the laundry room is visually interesting with black distressed cabinetry and slate flooring. With a lagoon view, the separate dining room provides lavish seating for ten.

The master bedroom is the picture of serenity, with robin’s egg-blue walls, and subtle tan furnishings. Its appointments include a wall-mounted flat screen TV with DVR and DVD, two walk-in closets and an enchanting lagoon and pool view. Its palatial master bath showcases marble flooring, a whirlpool tub, a marble-walled shower and double vanity with crystal pulls.

Upstairs, on either side of the center catwalk, are four sumptuously designed bedrooms, each with its own large flat screen TV. The first bedroom, in beige, gold and red accents, has a king-sized bed, an oriental rug and a private bath with gray and white marble vanity and oversized shower. With a lagoon view, the next upstairs bedroom, in a quiet blue, boasts a queen-sized sleigh bed, soaring tray ceilings, private bathroom and a walk-in closet.

The other two – also stunning -- upstairs bedrooms each feature queen-sized beds, high ceilings and private bathrooms. An office, at level one-and-a-half, features a large flat screen TV and sleeper sofa for additional guest quarters.

This spectacular home is a short walk to the beach, and is situated near the Sea Pines Beach Club and its amenities.
