The grand kitchen sprawls just on the other side of a wall of built-ins, boasting a spacious center island of granite around which is wrapped a gourmet paradise with updated stainless-steel appliances including flat cooktop stove and French door refrigerator. Nearby informal dining offers seating for six surrounded by plantation-shuttered windows for blissful natural scenery.

But as much as this property evokes the classic elements of Southern architecture, its outdoor spaces speak volumes about the natural paradise with which it is surrounded. Head through sliders in the living room and you’re at the heart of an outdoor party that will make your vacation unforgettable. A sprawling deck offers al fresco dining for six as well as a massive Weber grill, but it’s the covered patio where the party truly takes place.

Step down and you’re basking in the view of the pool’s sparkling waters, ringed by lush landscaping for privacy.

Immense care has been taken to give each of the property’s five guest rooms something which sets it apart. On the ground floor, we find one which enjoys incredible privacy, situated up a half staircase from the owner’s entrance. Separated from the home by a hallway — which also leads to a full laundry and half-bath — this elevated suite enjoys a massive footprint, king-size bed, ceiling fan, windows on opposing walls for lush natural light, and a spacious en suite with soaring skylight, walk-in shower and dual-basin vanity.

Two further guest rooms can be found on the ground floor. The first enjoys short-pile carpeting in a spacious room boasting queen-size bed, flat-screen TV, ceiling fan and windows on three walls for picturesque natural views. This space enjoys access to a full bathtub, shower and dual-basin vanity. The second, a full suite, sees a king-size bed set amid plentiful windows in a space with flat-screen TV, expansive closets, and en suite bath with walk-in shower and dual-basin vanity.

The remaining suites can be found just up a sweeping staircase on either side of a wide catwalk overlooking the great room and foyer. The first suite, perfect for younger guests, boasts a pair of twin-over-double bunkbeds with trundles, flat-screen TV, ceiling fan, views out to the pool and private bath with tub, shower, and twin scalloped basins draped in sunlight from the towering skylight.

The second serves as a suitably grand owner’s suite, with the bed and bath wrapping around a massive walk-in closet. The bedroom enjoys a plush king-size bed as well as a flat-screen TV and a private sitting room with ceiling fan and fold-out loveseat, with windows in each gazing down on the pool. The bath side of this wing pampers with equal grace, indulging with a massive walk-in shower, dual-basin vanity and a private soaking tub which can be closed off for spa-like serenity.
