Join us for a festive New Year’s Eve ball drop from the top of the Harbour Town Lighthouse! Enjoy food, entertainment and live music throughout Harbour Town, then count down to the ball drop as we welcome the New Year! There will be two drops: 7pm and midnight.
Frank Soule, Executive Director the Hilton Head Island Recreation Association, will be the honory ball dropped at the 7pm ball drop. Soule will be retiring later this month after 39 impactful years with the company. In addition to spearheading the programming for the first-ever Island Recreation Center in 1988, he later worked with community leaders to create People for Parks, which has raised more than $5 million to support the development of parks and recreation facilities throughout Hilton Head Island. Additionally, Soule played a key role in the 10-year process that led to the expansion and remodel of the Island Recreation Center.
