PGA Junior Competitive Edge Camp
Eligibility Requirements
• Ages 12 - 17
• Must be currently playing competitive golf (i.e. participate on the high school team, junior tournaments, or other similar competition platforms)
• Letter of recommendation from your current golf coach or instructor
Competitive Edge Campers will benefit from the The Sea Pines Golf Learning Center Performance, located at the Plantation Golf Club at Heron Point. The program's mission is to assist the long-term development and enjoyment of the game by creating a mindset of continuous improvement through preparation, competition, and life-long learning. The experienced team of instructors will use the latest technology including TrackMan Pro, SAM PuttLab, K-Vest and V1 Pro Software to build an individual plan of improvement for each student, and focus on areas that the individual needs to improve their golf game. Performers who seek out and embrace purposeful challenges place no limit on their potential.
While attending camp, campers will stay at the premier Hilton Head Island Villas on-site award winning villas where they will enjoy amenities commensurate with those one would expect from a high-end golf destination. With around the clock adult supervision, parents can be assured that campers will be properly taken care of and supervised at all times. All meals and dining will take place on-site at one of the property's restaurants and cafes.

Marcus Hunt - Camp Director
Marcus Hunt oversees The Sea Pines Resort's Junior Programs and has a primary focus of guiding junior golfers to achieving their goals in the game of golf. His primary focus is to provide students with an overall experience that will continue to fuel their passion for the game of golf. His ability to harness his competitive experience and teaching technologies while simultaneously being able to bring it full circle to improvement on the course will create confidence in each student to improve their game and lower scores.
As a former collegiate golfer at The University of Findlay (Ohio) he was an accomplished player. He captured two individual medalist titles and was a multiple all-conference and all- region selection. After a successful college career Marcus turned professional and competed in numerous tournaments ranging from events such as Swingthought.com Tour events, Web.com Monday Qualifiers and PGA Tour Canada Q-School. Marcus's competitive experience through all levels (Junior-to-College/Amateur-to-Professional) will give students the insight of what is necessary to make progression towards whatever goal the student is aiming towards.
