Creativity takes center stage with patriotic sidewalk chalk art at The Shops at Sea Pines Center and tie-dye at the Sea Pines Beach Club. End the day under the Liberty Oak with another lively Gregg Russell performance.

Thursday, July 2

Ease into your stay with a morning Dolphin Dash or discover marine life at Crabby Encounters in South Beach. In the afternoon, stroll through Artisan Alley at Sea Pines Center—a seasonal favorite featuring local makers, coastal goods, and one-of-a-kind finds.

Friday, July 3 – Set the Tone for the Weekend

Spend the day at the beach, explore scenic bike trails, or enjoy coastal dining before heading to Harbour Town for an evening performance by The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra. Their high-energy show sets the tone for an exciting Fourth of July weekend.

Saturday, July 4: Hilton Head’s Signature Celebration

Independence Day at The Sea Pines Resort unfolds from morning to night, blending tradition, entertainment, and unforgettable coastal scenery.

Morning: Harbour Town Parade

Start the day with the Fourth of July Parade, one of Hilton Head Island’s most beloved traditions. Guests decorate bikes, wagons, and strollers in red, white, and blue before parading through Harbour Town.

Led this year by Woody the Clydesdale from Lawton Stables, the parade offers a festive and photo-worthy start to the day.

Late Morning & Afternoon: Carnival & Coastal Fun

The celebration continues with the Fourth of July Carnival on the Harbour Town lawn. Enjoy:

• A juggler and bubble show
• The classic Watermelon Eating Contest

Afternoon Highlight: Salute From the Shore

Around 1:30pm, head to the beach for Salute From The Shore, a moving military flyover along the South Carolina coastline. Fighter jets pass over the Sea Pines Beach Club, offering a powerful and patriotic moment as guests gather along the shore to honor those who serve.

Evening: Music, Flight & Fireworks in Harbour Town

As evening begins, Harbour Town comes alive with celebration:

• Live entertainment from DJ Crush in front of the Quarterdeck
• A special Gregg Russell Concert under the Liberty Oak
• A breathtaking appearance by Lincoln the Bald Eagle, soaring from the Harbour Town Lighthouse
