Bill became a respected pianist as well as producer of events in the Chicago area for most of his career. And in 2010, he took the plunge of moving to a warmer climate, something he has always dreamed about doing. He and his wife, vocalist and former Miss Illinois, Betsy (Jamison) Peterson, now reside on Hilton Head Island and perform throughout the Low Country playing jazz and jazz cabaret. Bill has also performed with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra playing both piano and jazz accordion for a program entitled, “Dreaming of April in Paris”.
Bill is passionate about all styles of music. However, jazz is his favorite - whether playing solo piano, leading his jazz ensembles or creating and recording beautiful music in his home studio.
